My name is Joe Collins — I’m a U.S. Navy veteran who proudly served this country for over 13 years. In 2020, I ran for Congress in South Los Angeles 

to bring change, honor, and integrity to a community long-abandoned by career politicians like Maxine Waters. 

But instead of debating the issues or defending her record, Maxine Waters lied about my military service claiming I was dishonorably discharged from the world’s greatest Navy.

She had no proof. No documents. No facts. Just lies.

She even claimed my DD214 and service records were forgeries. 

That’s how far she was willing to go — dragging a veteran’s name through the mud just to stay in power. 

Her slogan is “I fight for everyone,” but her actions say otherwise. Maxine Waters fights for radical Democrats, for division, and for the destruction of everything that makes America great.

That’s why I sued her for defamation — and the battle is still ongoing. 

Now, she’s doing everything she can to hide from accountability and silence the truth. But I won’t back down. I’m fighting not just for myself — I’m fighting for every veteran who’s ever served with honor.

Maxine Waters disrespected every man and woman who’s worn the uniform. And if she’ll lie about this, she’ll lie about anything. 

This lawsuit isn’t just about clearing my name — it’s about restoring truth, justice, and honor in our political system.
